Aerial Fabric Acrobatics classes follow a specific class curriculum. We work with absolute beginners to professional levels. Our classes have a low student to teacher ratio that gives students the most one-on-one instruction possible. Performance opportunities are available for our students.

Special class for young aerialists age 8 to 18. Class focuses on learning basic to advanced tricks, locks, and drops. Core strength and flexibility will be developed with exercises on and off the fabric, utilizing gymnastics equipment and methods from dance, Pilates, Feldenkrais and Yoga. All students will work on routine development, giving students a chance to feel comfortable performing. |

Fitness Conditioning is a chance to work specifically on core strength utilizing aerial equipment, gymnastic equipment, and methods from Feldenkrais, Pilates, dance, and Yoga. You don't have to be an aerialist to get a workout in this class. If you are an aerialist Fitness Conditioning will be a huge help when you're in the air. If you want to start learning aerial, this class is an excellent prep to help boost your core strength. We tailor each class to your fitness level and provide individual attention. Aerial Yoga Fitness

Aerial Yoga Fitness combines some movement from Yoga, some from dance, and some movements that are based in Feldenkrais. Aerial Yoga Fitness is done using a fabric hammock. You will explore balance, and have fun swinging, as you build strength and flexibility. If you want to start learning aerial, this class is excellent. We tailor each class to your fitness level and provide individual attention. Please call Lynn if you want to attend as the class is limited to 8 participants. |

Workshops in your city
Consultant Services:
Aerial silks workshops with curriculum that incorporates specific
conditioning skills from Pilates, Dance,Gymnastics, and Feldenkrais.
Curriculum Overview:
Level One includes conditioning specific to climbing, single foot lock, and
simple poses to form the basis of a beginning routine.
Level Two builds on the skills introduced in Level One. Conditioning is
tailored to the double foot lock, straddle back balance, upside down
arabesque, hip key, and descent.
Level Three uses the skills and conditioning from Levels One and Two to form
the basis for all large drops, more complex wraps and poses. Introduces hip
and core rotation for the hip key spin, double splits wrap, upside down
arabesque drop, and the ankle hang.
Each workshop will have a curriculum hand out.
The curriculum has been
effective in bringing success to all skill levels, and to all participants
regardless of previous acrobatic or gymnastic experience. And they have fun!
The initial workshop will only be level one, Second workshop will present level one and level two curriculum, and Third workshop will present level one if necessary, level two, and level three. More advanced workshops can be arranged.
Additional aerial equipment can be rented and rigged for workshops. Aerial Fabric will supply equipment for rental and rigging of the additional equipment.
Marketing: Host of workshop is responsible for marketing workshops.
Space: Host of workshop is responsible for space rental.
Fees: Host is responsible for collecting fees for workshops.
Insurance: Aerial Fabric Acrobatics carries insurance for all workshops. Host will be responsible for insurance coverage after the first workshop. However, to qualify for insurance with the insurance carrier used by Aerial Fabric, host must agree to follow the curriculum guidelines as presented in the workshops and all safety guidelines.
Phone and email services: Aerial Fabric can provide consultation to clients for marketing, structure of program, insurance, performance, and equipment needs on an hourly basis.
Cost of Services:
Curriculum Hand out: $150 for each level of curriculum
Instruction $75 per hour for a minimum of four sessions two hours: $600
Travel expenses and accommodation to be covered by host of workshop
Rigging and Rental of aerial equipment: $100 for each fabric. $100 for
rigging of extra fabrics.
Phone and email support and consultation: $75 per hour

Strength and flexibility. All classes start with strength conditioning and awareness of the muscles used for fabric skills.
Wraps and poses. Basic wraps and poses are taught then combined with dance moves from the floor to the fabric and back. Choreography is developed in collaboration with the students.
Practice. Combinations of poses and basic routine are learned and perfected.
Advanced. More complex wraps and drops are learned and mastered. Each student is coached to develop their own choreography.
Performance. We coach performance skills and preparation for audiences of thousands.
hoop
Equipment. The hoop can be hung high or low, depending on choreography needs. If the hoop is hung lower the student can add swinging and spinning moves along with poses.
Moves and poses. Basic moves and poses are taught then combined with dance moves from the floor to the hoop and back. Choreography is developed in collaboration with the students.
bungee trapeze and straps
Equipment. The bungee harness and bungees are tuned to the individual performer depending on their weight and size. Straps are fixed webbing loops suspended from the ceiling.

Height. Bungee can be used low to the ground as an adagio element with training in flipping and awareness of the body in the air.
Trapeze bar. Bungee trapeze can use a trapeze bar which requires training in spinning moves and bouncing.
Choreography. Basic moves, flips, drops, and poses are taught and then combined with dance moves from the floor to the bungee and back. Choreography is developed in collaboration with the students.

Dardano's School of Gymnastics. We have trained with and learned from
contortionists, burlesque dancers, belly dancers, fire spinners, hand
balancing duos, and jugglers. We are always surprised at who will join us!
We share our knowledge of the aerial skills so it makes for fun evenings on
Sunday and Wednesday nights.
